WWE Raw Discussion: Khali Protests

Also, tonight, we get to see Candice v. Melina in a non-title match. By the way, Melina is looking quite skanky as of lately. Her hair is terrible. Seriously, girrrlllfriend!
Oh yeah. Ric Flair and Carlito are wrestling again. Last night’s match was good, but do we really need another one? I’m betting on a big-time steel folding chair beatdown from Carlito.
Finally…I know you guys have been waiting for this. Timbaland’s music video, featuring the WWE Divas, will premiere tonight on Raw. Hopefully he’ll be there himself, and he’ll be high like he was last time he was on TV. Seriously. He had to be high. Just like I am on benadryl. I’m going to go pass out now.

i tell you now, when i was watching the ppv today because i downloaded it instead, i was saying to myself ‘why is cena not being made to break the hold, khalis foot is under the rope’ and now wwe bring this up..its good and all as a quick thinking way to keep this awful feud going, but seriously when someone uses a title belt or theres outside interference the ref is oblivious and wwe say nothing and then they pull this one, i know its fake but you’ve gotta stick to some kind of boundaries

Here’s something stupid - what the f**k kind of gauntlet match is Lashley involved in here? The kind where he fights once and then heads to his locker room to relax. Doesn’t that basically set up the worst gaunlet match ever by Vince - allowing the guy he is trying to take advantage of to rest after each match?
Am I crazy or is the fact that Vince doesn’t trust Lashley to fight two matches in a row show a sure sign that Lashley just doesn’t have what it takes.

Can someone explain why people who grew up watching Hogan and Andre, hate Khali and Cena?
To me it seems very similar.
Also, explain why this generation of wrestling fans (18-2?yr olds)have so much appreciation for Andre ‘the Giant’?

oshizzo- I agree that people should see Khali/Cena as they did with Andre and Hulk 20 years ago. Yes people aren’t going to see the match as a steeping stone in wrestling but somewhere an 8 year old is very exicited over this feud. Khali is an exibition wrestler and if you don’t like it don’t watch it like I do.
However Andre is much better than Khali. Andre was also a huge wrestler who was over because of his size. But he was also an alright wrestler for his size who deserves respect for being decent with such a physical disadvantage. I know Big Show has nothing to do with this but he is also a big wrestler who people just seem to hate. I always liked Show because for his height he was a great wrestler and you have got to take his height into consideration. What i’m getting at before i ramble to much is that Khali is particually bad because why not have a guy like Big Show or Andre who can actually wrestle rather than getting this guy to do the “giant” role when I (hand on heart) could put a better match on despite not ever being in a wrestling ring.

But anyways, damn, Raw really was the Bobby Lashley show. I find myself wishing for an entire show filled with John Cena after watching this crap!!!
