Cyber Sunday Card

Written by sideshowraheem on October 16th, 2007 in Uncategorized.

The card for Cyber Sunday was released last night by the WWE after Raw. Here’s what it looks like so far.

  • WWE Championship match Randy Orton(c) vs Jeff Hardy or Ken Kennedy or HBK
  • World Championship match Batista(c) vs The Undertaker fans decide the special guest referee Mick Foley, JBL or Stone Cold
  • ECW Championship match CM Punk(c) vs Big Daddy V or The Miz or John Morrison
  • HHH vs Umaga in ether a Street Fight, Steel Cage or First Blood Match
  • Rey Mesterio vs Finlay in ether a Stretcher Match, Shillelagh On A Pole, or No DQ Match
  • Matt Hardy vs MVP fans choose the type of competition Boxing, Wrestling, or MMA

Ok, they really only added 2 matches that we didn’t know about already but assuming the fans pick the card correctly this actually looks like it could be pretty good.

Here is how I think the voting will go for this PPV (It does not mean this is what I would want to see). Does anyone thinks that Stone Cold is not going to win to be special guest ref?

WWE Championship match Randy Orton(c) vs HBK

World Championship match Batista(c) vs The Undertaker fans Stone Cold

ECW Championship match CM Punk(c) vs John Morrison

    HHH vs Umaga Street Fight

Rey Mesterio vs Finlay Shillelagh On A Pole

    Matt Hardy vs MVP MMA

  2. Kanadian Says:

yeah, i think buckeye has it basically down right, which is too bad, because matt hardy vs mvp in a real match would be good, and the rey finly would be awesome if it was no dq. but yeah, im not going to order this one. i was ready to order it before raw last night, but ive changed my mind.

  3. Lex Luthor Says:

HHH v. Umaga will be cage…

Mysterio v. Finlay will be stretcher, although the pole match would be better.

This card’s not that great, if you ask me.

  4. theoriginaljd Says:

FINALLY the something on a pole match has returned to RAW, haha.

I think that HBK will win the voting for the Orton match but I think the E hopes he doesnt. He obviously isn’t ready to come back yet and if the fans for whatever reason for Hardy or Kennedy through then they can put off the HBK/Orton match for another month without anyone thinking that they were being screwed.

  5. MarqMack Says:

this card looks kinda weak, however the asshole in wants to see a cm punk /miz ecw title match

  6. LordShen Says:

WWE Championship match Randy Orton(c) vs HBK (tho I’ve voted Hardy, but HBK is the only one with the build up to be there… LAME)

World Championship match Batista(c) vs The Undertaker - Stone Cold (i cant beliee how mindless this woman-beater’s fans are… just mention his name and they cream their pants… he wins easy but i think JBL will get a lot of votes)

ECW Championship match CM Punk(c) vs Big Daddy V (again, V has had the only real build up… I’m voting Morrison… i wish this match stated it was ECW rulesm then PUNK v MORRISON would REALLY get my interests)

HHH vs Umaga - Steel Cage simply because HHH has the history of the Hell in a Cell, but I wouldnt be surprised by a street fight

Rey Mesterio vs Finlay - No DQ

Matt Hardy vs MVP - MMA… when I went to Mania a friend actually had the sad misfortune to sit next to some people who complained and were bitching that benoit v MVP was a boring match… do u remember that match? BORING?! Not a show stealer, but FAR from boring. The fly-by-night fans will vote for the hottest thing going: MMA. I would rather the wrestling match. I’m not sure how Matt can pull off MMA. This match is a fucking joke.

There’s my cynicism for the day! haha :-D

  7. "The" Jsnwwf Says:

    HHH/Umanga(regal) in Cage match

    MVP/Hardy in Boxing match

    Rey/Finlay Stretcher match.

NO DIVAS? O WAIT…THE DIVA SEARCH WILL BE THERE….FUCK!

  8. LordShen Says:

maybe kong’s boobs will make another appearance and wrestle each other in exhibition.

wow… that’s just wrong of me.

  9. Mr Happy Says:

I think the card looks semi intresting it’s all to predictable mind you, looking forward to MVP v Hardy in an MMA fight

  10. BrettS Says:

put your money on a match being added on the night featuring the 2 who fail to win the WWE title match vote

if past history is anything to go by

    2004 & 2005 RAW’s world title has a 3 person vote to get a title match.

both years Shawn Michaels wins the vote

the 2 losers Edge & Benoit in 2004, Big Show & Kane in 2005 get a World Tag team title match.

Both years the challengers win the World Tag Team Titles.

Even last year when Cyber Sunday had the Champion of Champions match the World Tag tema Titles changed hands.

    Based on history

Jeff Hardy & Mr Kennedy will win the World Tag Team titles at Cyber Sunday.

and get into a copy of the Matt-MVP feud

  11. Kanadian Says:

im not going to like it at all if they copy the hardy mvp thing, it will cheapen both story linesstup

  12. Eric Says:

Rey vs. Finlay better be a stretcher match. What the hell are any of you talking about with “on a pole”? Get real!

MVP v Hardy, MMA all the way. I see what you mean when you say it might look like a joke, but that is the most appealing option to me.

I agree with Tazz: for Trips and Yoomanguh, I’m a first-blood kind of guy.

Fans will vote for V just for the hell of it. It’s not like he doesn’t deserve it, but I won’t vote for him because that is just the WWE thing to do–squash someone like Punk with a big man.

I don’t think the show looks too bad.

  13. BrettS Says:

    Kanadian:

Ok, maybe not a total copy of the feud things will be different for example

Jeff/Kennedy will do actual matches for both the tag and IC titles and not just competitions or tag matches like Matt/MVP

but the big thing that would come from having Jeff/Kennedy as tag champs and rivals for the IC title is

    wait for it

    Armageddon or maybe Royal Rumble

    The Hardys
    vs
    MVP & Mr Kennedy

For the Intercontinental, United States, World Tag Team and WWE Tag Team Titles

in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match
