Austin vs Hogan: Could It Finally Happen?

Here we go again, we’re working are way onto the on-ramp that leads to the road to Wrestlemania and the Austin vs Hogan rumors have kicked up again. As you may know Hogan is back on good terms with the WWE after a year of bad blood. Hogan is scheduled to appear on next Monday’s Raw 15th Anniversary where Austin is also set to make an appearance. Sources are saying the Vince is looking to take advantage of having both Austin and Hogan in the same place at the same time and maybe broker a deal for the two to finally face off at Wrestlemania 24. Hogan is supposedly on board it is Austin who is the hold out. But I wouldn’t get my hopes up 2 months ago Stone Cold made an appearance on the Opie & Anthony radio show when ask if he would ever wrestle Hogan he not only said that he would probably never wrestle Hogan he said he would probably never wrestle again period, check out the video.

If vince wants a big wrestlemania moment, MAKE IT HAPPEN. I would explode on my computer watching this match for wrestlemania, which would be my first wrestling ppv buy since summerslam 96. yeah i know

Seriously, if this happened, no matter how much i tried not to, i would still mark out for this match worse than a 6 year old fan hearing john cena’s entrance music. i realize it may not be the best pure wrestling match ever, but to have that much pure charisma in the ring would be GOLD for the WWE. i would definitely buy the ppv in a second if this was on the card.

whether the match would be good or not, this one would be one of the biggest attractions to wrestlemania in years. it would def be a huge moment, but i think if there is a chance it would be spoiled is if the crowd booed Austin and cheered hogan, and hogan came back from a 10 minute beat down to hit the leg drop for the win and squash austin.

I really can’t see this match ever happening to start with how much tv time would you need to turn Hogan heel and second why on earth would Austin agree to wrestle the match?

not going to happen. austin is done. the only chance is this: vince has to meet austin’s conditions. plus austin’s spinal cord is a heap of trash. no offense and hogan needs shots in his back after matches. in my opinion austin will refuse.
