How to end this Kane/Rey storyline, or at least make it better

With or without the Mask?
Here is my idea.
Make Mike Ademle, a tweener GM come up with a match/decision that will satisfy both parties. On one side there is Kane, a monster who for some reason feels like Rey is hiding behind his mask and wants it off. On the other side you have Rey who wants retribution for what Kane “did” to him. Here is my idea. You have a backstage segment in Adamle’s office with some one like Randy Orton, JBL, or Jericho complaining about something[not relevant to this blog post]. Once he leaves the room, have Rey Mysterio come in and say that he needs to talk to Adamle. Fade to black. We go to a commercial break and noone knows what was discussed in the room. Later on, preferably the last segment of the show, have Adamle come out and make a huge announcement for Survivor Series. Kane vs Rey Mysterio. If Kane wins then Rey takes off his mask and has to stay unmasked for the rest of his career, but if Kane loses then he has to put his mask back on.
As to how to fill the gap from now to Survivor Series? Let the writers figure that one out.
Whether or not Adamle can make Kane do anything he didnt want to is another subject for another day.

I don’t like the idea of Kane being forced to put the mask back on but honestly it’s the only way now that Kane has already mentioned his disgust for people hiding behind a mask. At the end of the day It’d be nice if your storyline works out.

it would be better still to have paul bearer back for a brief set of episodes as kane’s manager.

I really haven’t found Kane entertaining whatsoever since he lost the mask. So any idea of him putting it back on is fine with me.
On a side note .. I would rather watch Bourne than Rey anyway. Rey has lost it to me. Sad truth but he is getting older.

I don’t know, this seems like a storyline I’d shit on. It doesn’t really solve how to fix the bad in this storyline. The problem for me is in the booking of Mysterio, I don’t understand why WWE can’t make Rey look strong. he had the one week where he returned and killed Kane, and ever since Kane’s been beating the crap out of him, i.e. Rey wins by DQ. I can’t get interesated in Kane beating up the little guy every week.

It’s better then the heroic over come the odds type storyline that Cena and Mysterio have been put in all the time. But I do see your point.

I think the no mercy match between Mysterio and Kane should have had a stipulation on kane’s end.
maybe a retirement stipulation… because it was obvious Mysterio wasn’t going to lose his mask so early on in the feud :\
