From wwe.com:
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Lance Cade as of October 14, 2008. WWE wishes Lance the best in all future endeavors.
No word yet on why Cade was released.
All I can say is, WTF? WWE lets go of another promising, young superstar. Thoughts? Speculation?

WTF???

Well I guess my wife and I were able to see him in his last match with WWE then. We saw him beat D’lo Saturday night at a house show up here in Reno, NV.
Seems weird they would fire him though, I thought he was going to be a big star, especially with the push he was starting to get. I mean shoot, he pinned HBK a couple weeks ago. I wonder if he did something to get fired, or if he asked for his release. Who knows, but I bet we’ll see him in TNA in no time.

The writing staff are more worried about there jobs and keeping Vince happy. So they tend to push the guys that pull in the ratings and forget about guys who need a little time spent on them.

wow, this is pretty shocking considering the push he seemed to be getting. I imagine that he had to have asked for his release considering how many times other guys have made mistakes and been allowed to return.

This is bad bad news
almost as bad as Joey mercury’s release…

It is quite the surprise. Maybe they just had a change of heart in the direction they wanted Jericho’s character to go; maybe they told him, he didn’t do anything wrong, but it just wasn’t working out and/or they had nothing for him. I don’t know if this will turn out to be a mistake. It is a shame that a good, young talent got canned though.

Wellness issues? Or are we not allowed to say that for fear of getting our asses sued?
October 15th, 2008 at 7:36 am
if it was wellness he’d be suspended not fired. I wouldn’t mind seeing Cade and Murdoch show up in TNA. Help out the tag team division.

THe FUCK?!?!?!
Wow yo…I don’t get it…there’s gotta be a good reason for this because I was really looking for this dude to be a major player in the future, especially with HBK in his corner.
Wait…they fired one of HBK’s boys?!?! HOLY SHIT!!

It could have been a wellness issue. Remember there were people flunking it before they started saying who it was. Maybe he just wanted a release, or maybe it was some wellness thing. Either way, LEX LEX LEX…..there’s your next podcast man.
