WWE Monday Night Raw Discussion: Batista & HBK v. Jericho & JBL

I’ve heard that Cyber Sunday actually wasn’t that bad of a PPV, but you wouldn’t know it based on the main event for tonight’s Raw: Batista and Shawn Michaels will take on Chris Jericho and JBL. File that one under the “more of the same” category.

I read that CM Punk/Kingston vs Dibiase/Rhodes and Mysterio vs Bourne are also advertised.
That last match intrigues me but how many times have we seen some variation of HBK/Batista vs JBL/Jericho in the past few months?

I can’t wait for the poss. Team Orton v. Team Punk 4 on 4 for SS. Punk, Kingston, Mysterio, Bourne v. Orton, Ted, Cody, Manu. Mysterio is a wild card, as I see his feud v. Kane continuing somehow.
The improbable Dave v. Cena II for title at Surv. Series is something I am not looking forward to.

I would like to see Bourne with Rey. That would be a really good match if Vince just will let them do their thing.

BTW, Stone Cold looked in pretty good condition last night…. I know he’s filming another hollywood blockbuster (lol) but maybe also he’s getting ready for his Wrestlemania 25 Match I know I’m keeping my fingers crossed

Cole works SO much better with a heel color guy. Lawler and Cole have been an epic fail in my book.

I loved that match up with Rey and Bourne…it was awome to me. I like Bourne…if Vince plays it right then he’s got a hot ticket on his hands now. I mean this guy is really good and I for one can see him giving Batista and Cena a tough time in the ring. I think those would be really good shows there. I guess I’m trying to say he can be the next hot thing and I can see him as champ too.
