ECW on Sci-Fi Discussion: Live Dirt Sheet
Written by Lex on October 28th, 2008 in ECW, Live Discussion, WWE.

Tonight’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi features a live “Dirt Sheet” show with The Miz and John Morrison. The duo evidently want to discuss their match against DX (one night only folks!) on next week’s big episode of Raw.
In ratings news, Raw only scored a 2.95 last night, so the down trend continues. Ironically, last night’s episode of Raw was actually good.
Discuss ECW here.

The Dirt sheet was funny until they brought out the lame impersonators. Too bad Morrison and Miz will probably get squashed on Raw…ugh.

ECW, as usual, was on point. Everything was going well up until they brought out those damn DX impersonators. Wow that was bad.
SIDEBAR…Anybody know when was the first time John Cena used “Time Is Now” as his entrance theme. I wasn’t watching back then and I can’t pinpoint an exact date. I read that M.O.P. is actually suing him for using their likeness on the song without permission and it made me wonder when he actually started using it as an entrance. I know it had to be right before the album came out.

ECW was actually pretty good aside from the John Cena jerkoff video segment and the fake DX.

I watched ECW last night for the first time in, well, at least a year. Much like the other comments, I liked it. Jack Swagger reminds me of Gary Busey, which is a scary enough thought to sell him as a heel for me. And the wrestling wasn’t bad. The promo at the end of the show did its purpose, which was to setup the match on Monday between Miz and Morrison and DX. And I actually think the two have a chance against DX. A win Monday would solidify their place in the WWE as the top heel tag team.

Yea, can’t wait to see Miz pin HBK. /sarcasm
Actually, a Morrison pin on HBk would set up a marvelous feud, but the E is too close minded. Also, they won’t do that because once you pull Morrison off Miz, Miz becomes uninteresting.

Okay, maybe not a clean win, but if a rollup grabbing the ropes or tights happens, or a ref bump occurs, I could see it happening to allow a short feud to continue. Of course, thinking about HBK going into a program with JBL and HHH likely going to a program with Kosloff, DX’ll go over.
It’s sad that Bourne injured himself. He had three nights in a row with good matches, and with Mark Henry attacking him it looked like a feud was starting.
