TNA Impact! Discussion: Cage’s Decision
Written by Lex on October 30th, 2008 in Live Discussion, TNA.
For the second week in a row, I’m actually going to watch Impact!. Here’s what TNA has in store for us tonight, courtesy of TNAWrestling.com:
- After what went down on the live broadcast involving the formation of the Main Event Mafia alliance of Sting, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle and Booker T, the wrestling world wants to know how the young lions like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles will react. According to sources, Joe and AJ have already begun recruiting other superstars to join their side - and they plan to speak out this Thursday night on SpikeTV! Will all hell break loose as the war between the Main Event Mafia and the new generation continues to intensify? Tune in and find out!
- BUT, the big question is what will unfold on the broadcast as NEW TNA Executive Shareholder Mick Foley assumes power on “iMPACT!”. Will Foley have something to say about the Main Event Mafia vs. the new generation? How will he change the landscape of TNA in his new role as shareholder with the company? Plus, we understand TNA founder Jeff Jarrett will be on the broadcast along with Foley to address the announcement!
- In Knockouts tag team action, it will be The Beautiful People facing the team of Christy Hemme and ODB
- The Motor City Machineguns will be in tag team action
- According to sources, “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage will make his decision whether he will fight Booker T at Turning Point on November 9! If Cage wins, he would get the Legends Championship. If he loses, he would be forced to join The Main Event Mafia!
Let’s see if Hell has actually frozen over and if I really enjoy Impact! two weeks in a row.
Discuss TNA Impact! here.

Nice Knockouts beatdown…that’s why the Knockouts division is so much better than the Divas division. Roxxi rules!

Wow, Tanahashi and Volador against MCMG? Greatness. TNA needs to bring in more international talents year round. This is what I miss from the days of WCW.

Howcome TNA can pull off the move to HD without messing up the screen for standard television but the WWE can’t?
On another note, TNA is the best thing going in wrestling right now…just putting that out there.

Nick - on my SDTV, I was getting the WS treatment…
Where the letters didn’t fit because it is in 16:9. Or am I just an HDTV ignoramus?
October 31st, 2008 at 10:49 am
On my HDTV the picture was stretched just slightly wider than my widescreen. It was weird. I only noticed it during graphics where the text ran off the corner of the screen. I haven’t had this issue with any other shows recently.

I’ve been watching in SD because we don’t have Spike HD for some reason…it looked fine in SD.
