WWE Monday Night Raw Discussion: Big Main Event

As usual, I couldn’t resist reading the Raw spoilers, and this time, it paid off–it looks like there will be a wild main event tonight on Raw. I’m not going to spoil the match for anyone, but if you’ve read the spoilers, you know what I’m talking about.
Also, we’ve got Santino v. William Regal for the Intercontinental Title in front of Regal’s home country fans. Even though he’s a heel, you know he’ll get the face reaction in England.
I’m actually looking forward to Raw tonight, and since I’m on vacation, I’ll actually stay awake for the potentially awesome main event. That’s something I haven’t done much lately.

I just don’t get the whole honk-o-meter thing. To me, the payoff would have been to have him do that for like the next year, and then lose the title the week before he tied it or something. I understand not wanting to keep the title on someone that long, but at least it would have given the IC strap some meaning.

Lex, I see what you mean, but he wasn’t a credible champion because they never let him show anything at all in the ring. Every win was a cheat or a fluke.

did I tell you guys that I went to the Chikara show when they came through Illinois a couple of months back? I took my 8 year old daughter too. Awesome night. And we’re in the DVD of the show a lot too.
