Here’s tonight’s Impact! preview courtesy of TNAWrestling.com:

- What will happen in the ongoing war between The Main Event Mafia and the young lions of TNA?

- This past week, The Main Event Mafia brutally attacked Christian Cage and sent a message to the rest of the TNA roster. How will Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and the rest of the TNA Originals react? Tune in and find out!

- TNAwrestling.com has also learned that the Main Event Mafia will speak out about what they did to Christian Cage this past week!

- Plus, there will be more news and matches announced for the December 7 “Final Resolution” Pay-Per-View epic event! We’ve learned that Executive Shareholder Mick Foley will announce the main event for the Pay-Per-View!

Matches schedule for this Thursday night are as follows:

- In the featured bout, it will be Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash of the Main Event Mafia taking on Abyss and “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan

- Christy Hemme and newcomer Sojourner Bolt will battle Velvet Sky and Angelina Love, aka The Beautiful People

- Plus, in an X Division tag team bout it will be Consequences Creed and “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal taking on “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt and Japanese superstar Tanahashi

All this and much more TONIGHT at 9pm on SpikeTV!

I have not read the spoilers for this show, but based on the card I see here, it looks like it might be a bit of a down episode. There’s not really a marquee singles match-up tonight. I will be interested to see what kind of main event they come up with for Final Resolution.

Sweet, I’m just gonna watch this Monday’s missed Raw.

I only watch TNA for how bad it is anyways, so…you know.

  2. 313rd Perfectionist Says:

Who is this Sojourner Bolt? She got a fat ass on her!!

  3. Arron Says:

I have liked TNA since the live show in Las Vegas.

    Things are slowly developing.

I like this, this is better than anything WWE has done since Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels

  4. MarcusR Says:

Goldust is back in WWE! I think this is the awesomest news I’ve heard in ages! Goooooooooooolldussssssssssssst!!!!

  5. DynamiteKid Says:

OK, I don’t get it. So they are having a 4 on 4 tag match, and if Sting’s team loses he loses the belt to AJ Styles? WTF? Somebody explain to me how a singles belt can be lost in a tag team match because I don’t get it. Also, why AJ? I can’t believe that Foley could even announce that with a straight face.

  6. DynamiteKid Says:

And Rhino? Why is he getting such a mega push?

  7. Lex Says:

That sounds like some WCW booking right there, Dynamite. A Russo special!

  8. Dr. Tron Says:

I am not pleased with this eight-man tag match. A.J. getting the belt if his teams wins just seems so… arbitrary. And here I was going to say that TNA had become so much more… logical lately. Storylines have been making sense, and for the most part feuds are being booked well. But this just seems like normal, silly TNA BS.

Also, while I can see the advantage in having a build towards another JJ/Angle match, with the other stipulation being that Kurt’s contract is void, doesn’t that telegraph the finish of the match from a million miles away? I can’t imagine Angle is going ANYWHERE, so they better book this match well or I have a feeling it will be a giant dud. Which would be a shame considering those two could put on a spectacular show.

  9. Rob Dib Says:

Are we are supposed to take the originals seriously? Why can’t AJ win the belt legitimately?

I have a feeling TNA will be fun to watch for awhile, then if will die a horrible death. (WCW)

  10. SCMike Says:

That match booking and the Rhino megapush have taken the small momentum TNA had, and abolished it.

“I like this, this is better than anything WWE has done since Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels”

Are we forgetting the early to middle Y2J v. HBK ‘08 storyline?

I am enjoying TNA at the moment. Major shock there cause I couldn’t get into it the past few weeks but I can now cause I see where the Main Event Mafia is going. They want to make Sting “The Godfather” type character where he is in complete control without Kurt Angle even knowing it. Angle is building it up to the Jeff Jarrett match at Genesis next month cause Rhino won’t win. Come on, who is going to fire their biggest star. The only major problem I have is this Eight Man Tag. WHAT THE FUCK? I would rather a Six Sides Of Steel. HELL I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED FUCKING ELEVATION X TO THIS MATCH. What credibility is AJ going to have as a Champion if he doesn’t pin Sting and knowing that they will push the “Godfather” angle with him, Sting won’t get into the ring with AJ cause he doesn’t need to. They will build it as “I beat AJ before, I have nothing to prove.” Make this an Elimination Match and have Sting and AJ as the last guys and the rest of the TNA Originals and MEM away from Ringside. I am sick of the run ins. That is 3 PPVs in a row with Run Ins during the Main Event. It is trash and TNA knows that but they still do it anyway. This is a joke. I want AJ as the champion more than ANYTHING but Don’t have a run in. PLEASE
