May 16th 2007:
Lets all discuss which wrestling podcasts/webcasts we all listen to beside the great PWB.
- The Minority Report (now known as the Don and Kev Show)- Many of you may have seen this on my blog or talk about this. This is the number 1 wrestling podcast/webcast FACT. The show is hosted by Don Tony, Kevin Castle, Joey 9:24 and Smoked Out. Its an informative and very funny show nothing like your typical show. I advise you all to check this out.
- Smart Wrestling Fan - No real need for me to talk on this since we all knows about it. I do enjoy this one.
- The Squared Circle - Its a show from here in the UK. Its alright nothing great, I tend to yawn at this unless there is something good.
- Wrestling Observer Live - Very good show, have to download it via Torrents.
- Monday Night Mayhem - Only been checking this out for a few weeks and its a pretty good show. Done during RAW. They will break down the PPV from the night before or preview upcoming PPVs. Do get some good guests on the show.
I do listen to a few more but need to find the names.
So what are we all checking out?

1) Da Sharpshooters. A show where they actually seem to enjoy watching wrestling, and hearing the banter between the brothers is awesome. (yes, Eric, Marcus and Ryan are real brothers). The best by a long margin.
2) Wrestlecrap. The funniest. Bar none.
3) Smart Wrestling Fan. Used to be my #1, but shows are too long and I really don’t need life lessons in my wrestling shows. This is easily the #1 downloaded wrestling podcast though isn’t it Jason?
4) Wrestlecast, but it’s on so seldom.

I’ve listened to Minority Report in the past, however their RSS feed decides to aggregate both shows the main guy does per week and its slightly annoying.
Da Sharpshooters is fast becoming the number one show for me to listen to, even though its not a behind-the-scenes discussion. Hilarious scenarios involving Kane, Matt Morgan, and the Undertaker galore.
Smart Wrestling Fan… still funny, but becoming less relevant to today’s youth in my opinion. Religion and politics have seeped in.

Thanks for the attribution on this post, but I don’t think I wrote it…it was probably when I imported all the old posts from Blogger. I’m guessing it’s from Scotland’s MVP, but I’m not sure.

I listen to PWB’s Podcast with Lex!
November 22nd, 2008 at 4:31 pm
The Original Nick,
I listen to Lex’s PWB’s podcast too!
I also like Sideshows podcast , he does make interesting podcasts. He should do a weekly half an hour ‘the rant’ which only focuses on wwe and his views on wrestling news.

DA SHARPSHOOTERS (#1 in the streets, and everywhere else.)
And Live Audio Wrestling (AM Canadian show) is a great one.
If I had to rank -
1. Da Sharpshooters
2. SWF
3. LAW

Why do I feel ike this is just a big shill for DnK show? It was good at one point, but Don Tony annoys me. Castle is a guy who knows what he’s saying, I just feel like DT holds back the show.
Da Sharpshooters as DK said, are really the best one out there. Just fans doing a show, they may not be the biggest, but they are the funniest. Make the dull week of wrestling worthwhile. They love wrestling for all the wrong reasons, and I feel like “Oh man, I have got to download TNA just to see what they’re talking about”

I stoped listening to the Don tony and kevin castle show. Too many wwe marks. Don Tony slurps the WWE way too much ans sometimes it makes me wonder if he is on the payroll. Not to mention everytime you tell him something that dosent agree with he always takes it to race or something else off topic. Needless to say I am not from newyork and I could care less about jerzy all pro, or his dog, or his his lame ass wrestling views. I mopre or less view his as the Bill o Riley of Wrestling podcasts. The only thing that makes that show worth half a shit is Kevin Castle. I respect Castle even if he has DT all over his nuts
I enjoy Lexes podcast a lot more

I have to agree with “SCMike” and “Joe Morgan” about the “Don and Kevin Show”. I tried to listen to it for about six months and it got really tired. Kevin is very interesting to listen to but Don Tony is far from interesting. I don’t usually have a problem with crass language but hearing the word “cunt” over and over gets old fast. Plus for two guys that do not like Hulk Hogan or his family they spend enough time talking about them. Where I really lost it was that the show would be “an enjoyable 3 hours and some odd minutes” with anywhere from 20 minutes to 30 minutes of highlights from the show I was about to listen to then it became a game of fast forwarding to the starting of the show.
I listen to SWF I have grown a little tired of the political talk and religion the last few weeks but over all the product is good for what it cost me. I enjoy all segments of the show except Twilight Tokyo Rose but that is mostly because I do not follow Japanese companies. With SWF I can skip watching the shows and even PPVs and get a decent review on Wednesday morning.
I used to listen to Lex’s show till it became interview only. Then when it went to a mostly MMA show I stopped all together because even though I have tried to watch the different MMA companies that are out there I just do not enjoy it at all. I do enjoy “The New PWB” to get wrestling updates and even some interesting videos from time to time.

I listened to SWF for about 2 months and last week was my last episode
When they were shitting on TNA iMPACT! when the episodes were good(a few weeks ago), that was the last straw
They never have anything good to say and they ramble a lot
5 hr shows? WTF?
The best one out there is Tha O Show
They recently had on Colin Delaney
Don and Kev are funny and Kevin Castle is the brains of the show
Also
- In your head radio sucks unless they have a guest
-The Rant = what happened to that? It was good too
-No Gimmicks Needed, gone
-Monday Night Mayhem? LOL, idiots that do the show WHILE RAW IS ON! Wow
-Wrestling News Live(with Adam Martin of Wrestleview)

I know this is off topic but it says on wwe.com Jeff Hardy has found unconscious in his hotel room not sure if its a work or not.
November 23rd, 2008 at 8:23 am
if it’s posted on wwe.com, what do you think?
November 23rd, 2008 at 8:25 am
also, I find the endless shilling of merchandise/contributing on SWF to be really annoying too. Also as Jason says, who has 5 hours to listen to a podcast?
November 23rd, 2008 at 9:28 am
I like the Don Tony and Kevin Castle show but my favorite podcast is Da Sharpshooters (that’s D.A. Da Sharpshooters). I also like Rocketbuster Radio on Fanoff.com and the Minority Roundtable.
November 23rd, 2008 at 9:31 am
I went ahead and posted the news on Jeff Hardy on the blog, so feel free to discuss it there.
November 23rd, 2008 at 9:32 am
Its looking increasing like the Jeff Hardy story is not a work some wrestling websites are repoting it a real.
November 23rd, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Ownage–I don’t think so. Of course it’s a work.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
When it comes to wrestling podcasts I listen two PWB and Roundtable Wrestling Radio which has Joey 9:24 on it. Along with Jobber Joe, Johnny Synn and The Byron and sometimes Smoked Out too.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:16 pm
Jobber Joe is a fucking joke and I have told Joey that on Xbox Live already
November 26th, 2008 at 12:46 am
Sorry you don’t like him Jsnwwf.
