ECW on Sci-Fi Discussion: Six-Man Tag

Written by Lex on Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 in ECW, Live Discussion.

Tonight’s ECW features a six-man tag main event: William Regal, Cody Rhodes and Mark Henry will take on Matt Hardy, Kofi Kingston and Finlay.

In addition, Jack Swagger and Tommy Dreamer will face off in some kind of amateur wrestling match. Nothing like stealing TNA’s ideas!

ECW on Sci-Fi/Presidential Election Discussion

Written by Lex on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 in ECW, Live Discussion, WWE.

I can’t honestly say I’ll even watch ECW tonight with the presidential election coverage on–as most of you in the U.S. know, there’s not much better drama than an election. Feel free to talk about it here, if that’s your cup of tea.

Election or no election, the show must go on for ECW. Tonight, Matt Hardy will kick off the show in a wrestling match. Hopefully we’ll find out who the next contender for his title will be. I’d like to see John Morrison get a shot at feuding with him. I think they could put on some pretty exciting matches.

Evan Bourne Injury Update: Out 3-4 Months

Written by Lex on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 in ECW, News, Raw, Smackdown, WWE.

I know everyone was pretty dismayed when news broke that Evan Bourne suffered an ankle injury.

Now we know more about that injury. According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, Bourne suffered a torn deltoid ligament and a dislocated left ankle. He’ll be wearing a boot on that knee for the time being.

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net is reporting that recovery time for this injury is three to four months, so don’t expect to see Bourne back on TV before then.

This is a huge blow for wrestling fans since Bourne was consistantly involved in the best wrestling matches on WWE TV. His popularity has soared, and I’m betting he gets a huge push when he comes back in 2009.
