(UPDATE 9:52 p.m.) Here are tonight’s results:
Let’s face it: if you’re ordering No Mercy, it’s probably based on the strength of the main event. Outside of Jericho and HBK going at it in a ladder match, the rest of the card is a wash.
I think that’s mostly the bookers on Raw’s fault–they really haven’t made fans care about their part of the card. Throwing in a mask stipulation at the last minute for Rey Mysterio and Kane’s match is just a cheap way to get heat, and JBL has become more boring than I ever remember him being.
On the Smackdown side, I’m at least mildly interested in Triple H v. Jeff Hardy and Undertaker v. Big Show.
Still, I want to see a ladder match between Jericho and HBK more than anything on TNA’s upcoming Bound for Glory PPV, so my money is going to this show based solely on that match.

Hmm. For some reason, wwe.com seems to have done away with “previews” for their shows. Either that, or I’m just completely missing something. Anyways, here’s the line-up for tonight’s Raw. Don’t blame me if it’s wrong, I got it from another site:
The eight-man tag has potential but the rest of these matches don’t really do much for me.

**CHEAP PLUG UPDATE**: The second edition of the MMA Shoot podcast is now online–Ian joined me on the show to preview this Saturday’s EliteXC: Heat show that will feature Kimbo Slice v. Ken Shamrock, Jake Shields v. Paul Daley and Gina Carano v. Kelly Kobald.
In addition, I’ve posted the raw audio of last Thursday’s EliteXC conference call featuring Jake Shields, Paul Daley, Gina Carano and Kelly Kobald. It’s about an hour long, but if you’re interested in those two fights, it’s a great listen.

Episode number 144 of PWB’s Official Podcast is now online.
In this episode, I discuss the results of this week’s podcast poll on the new TNA Impact! Video game. I also tell you why you’re crazy if you think the HBK/Chris Jericho feud sucks, and give you my top 5 ladder matches. Finally, I check in for some listener feedback and give you my final word on TNA’s potential re-birth and the “respect” storyline.

Now we all know that Hogan/Austin would be huge, but it wont happen
Bret Hart/Hogan will never happen and Bret Hart/Angle will never happen
What is your dream match featuring current wrestlers?
Here is my dream list
-HBK/Taker -Hell in a Cell 2
-Edge/Christian
-Shelton/Kurt
-Sting/Taker
-HBK/The Rock - build up would be better than the match, heel HBK
-Austin/Orton
-John Cena/The Rock
-Austin/Taker, AT WRESTLEMANIA ONLY - Career vs streak
Taker can’t go for the World title and win it EVERY fucking year
He has had like 4 Wrestlemania main event title wins, enough already! I dont want to see him in a mania main event again, even though he is at his best

Lex’s Note: As usual, no posting over this until tomorrow.
It’s time for another WWE PPV discussion. This time, we’ve got Unforgiven.
From the looks of the very unscientific poll I posted yesterday, it’s about an even split on who will order this and who won’t. I’m staying on the sidelines tonight since I ordered UFC 88 last night, but hopefully there will be more than enough PWBites to give us their opinion on the show.
Here’s tonight’s card:
